Hi there! In need of some inspiration of where to go in Maldives? 🏝️ We thought we’d share some of our favourite mid-range resorts in Male’ atoll, which are closest to the airport:
Kurumba Maldives is the first resort built in Maldives, but is still (in our opinion!) one of the best. Great beach, large swimming pool, plenty of excellent restaurants and bars plus an overall great atmosphere. Our Transfer rate: $100
Cinnamon Dhonveli is another great resort; it’s best feature is the huge stretch of beach with plenty of sun loungers, and lovely beach bar! It’s also been refurbished recently, definitely opt for the all-inclusive package its worth it. Our Transfer rate: $150
Club Med is maybe the most fun resort we’ve been to, there is A LOT of entertainment and activities which guests can take part in if they want; think aqua aerobics in the pool, parties at the bar, really nice island and staff are very friendly. What makes it even better – it’s an all-inclusive resort! Our Transfer rate: $165
Holiday Inn Kandooma is also one of our favorite’s, there’s a gorgeous beach and a big pool, excellent spa, different restaurants and a nice rooftop bar to try out over the stay. There’s also a small sandbank just near the island which you can swim to if you’re up to it! Our Transfer rate: $190
Hard Rock Hotel at Crossroads was terrific and bit different as an experience in Maldives as you can visit the Marina @ Crossroads which has a few nice spots like Ministry of Crab and Café Del Mar. The hotel has music playing everywhere which we loved, beautiful pool and pool bar perfect for spending the whole day at! Our Transfer rate: $125
These are just a few of the great places to visit in the Maldives! Our top picks are probably most suited to young couple travelers. We are not affiliated to any of these hotels. Happy Holidays in Maldives 🏝️
